Subject to the account terms and conditions, you can close your account online simply by clicking on 'Account Options' and selecting 'Close Account'.
Your full balance, including any interest accrued but not yet applied to your account, will be in your nominated account by the end of the following business day (or by the end of the same business day if your instructions are submitted before 2pm on that business day).
A transfer to another Aldermore account in your name(s) will usually take one business day (or will be made on the same day if you submit an instruction to us before 3pm on a business day).
If you close all of your Aldermore accounts, you won't be able to log into internet banking when they're closed. To keep a record of your transactions and the interest we've paid, you can print or save this information by clicking on 'Print Statement' on the Statement and Interest Summary pages. Please also print or save these for any previous years you might need.
We'll also send you a closing statement and an interest summary for the current tax year through the post. You should receive these within five business days of the account closing.
If you still have an open account, the statements for any accounts closed in the current or previous calendar year will be available to view in the Closed Accounts section of the 'Summary' page.
